PERSONAL HISTORY

Atlanta, Ga. ~ 1964 – 1993 – Designer, Developer, Builder.

Anna Maria Island, Florida ~ 1994 to present, Designer.

A career which began in 1964 fueled by a true gift of creative design, planning ability and a passion to express it. Emily Anne began a career of design and construction of single family homes in Atlanta at age 25.  She was one of the first licensed female General Contractors east of the Mississippi River. Extensive travel and intensive study of the history of architectural styles and method of construction have continued for 56 years as have her achievements in award winning design. She has to her credit Land Development, Planning, Design, Construction and management.  Today after 56 years of successful self employment and professional experience she is enjoying the planning and design execution for public spaces, resorts, multi family, commercial and single family structures. Emily Anne plans to continue using her gift of design for many more years.

The firm is supported by the office Administrator, Lea Ann Bessonette and an experienced, competent staff.

A PERSONAL NOTE

My Procedure to custom design is an adventure of discovery and creativity. It is a path we take together with me as your guide.

An adventure you don’t take that often in your lifetime ~ a discovery where we examine your needs, wants, desires, how and who you entertain, your hobbies, interests, habitual use of space and function which sets the requirement of the floor plans and your tastes for architectural style.

I bring to you 25 years of experience as a licensed Building Contractor and a total of over 56 years of one-of-a-kind award winning home designs, commercial centers, resorts and public structures.
